Overview

The Executive, Operational Technology serves as a strategic advisor to executive leadership, partnering across the organization to align business strategy with technology execution.

This position leads high-impact initiatives spanning strategic planning, enterprise technology alignment, system selection, vendor negotiations, operational optimization, and growth initiatives. The ideal candidate brings executive presence, deep enterprise technology expertise, and strong consulting capabilities.


Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Advise executive leadership on enterprise technology and operational strategy

  • Lead complex initiatives from assessment through execution

  • Align technology investments with long-term business objectives

  • Facilitate executive workshops and strategy sessions

Business & Technology Assessment

  • Conduct leadership interviews to assess business and technology environments

  • Analyze current-state operations and identify performance improvement opportunities

  • Document business processes, requirements, and findings

  • Develop strategic recommendations supported by data and analysis

Enterprise Technology & Vendor Strategy

  • Guide enterprise system selection initiatives

  • Evaluate and negotiate vendor contracts

  • Develop technology roadmaps aligned with operational goals

Communication & Program Execution

  • Deliver executive-level reports and presentations

  • Establish performance metrics and success measures

  • Provide program leadership across cross-functional initiatives

Growth & Innovation

  • Support strategic growth initiatives and proposal development

  • Contribute to development of tools, frameworks, and intellectual property


Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field (Required)

  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree (Preferred)

Experience

  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience

  • Experience working with enterprise technology vendors (Required)

  • Business consulting experience (Preferred)

  • Strong background in enterprise technology strategy and operational alignment (Required)

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Ability to operate at both strategic and detailed execution levels

  • Executive presence with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
